Once a year, to celebrate their graduation, every single senior attending Montgomery High School goes to The Lake. It's a day of glorious fun, a swimming race to the island and the world's biggest chicken fight, followed by a night of camping under the stars.
This year, it's shy and unpopular Mackenzie Davids' turn, and she's determined to enjoy it. The outdoors is where she's happiest, and swimming's what she's best at. But with nearly a hundred just-graduated students camped out on the shores of a beautiful lake, anything could happen.
