I am the girl who flies with hidden wings.
I live where wings are deemed a luxury -
hide that I may dream of dragonish things
view all that comes to pass sulph-furiously.
PART 3: Explores Penelope's quest to discover what has occurred to Odysseus. Begins with 'The Penelopiad'.
Love, swear not on any constellation
swear on Life for it will always prevail
whether here or some parallel travail
it shall be, I swear, our consolation.

Avalon Isn't What It Used To Be
My mother says my endless curiosity and my need to venture is a curse. Though, I know she only says that because I'm just like my father; who went out to curb his appetite for new experiences and never came home. Do I feel abandoned? No. How could I? Not when I fully understand the craving... Fae almost never leave Avalon. It's rare, and normally Fae that leave Avalon are forced into exile. Hardly ever do they leave voluntarily. My mother hates to see me leave, and a part of me is ashamed to do so, seeing as I'm basically abandoning her like my father. But she has my baby brother, Almned, who isn't even 500 yet. And I'm one penalty away from serving time in the Avalonian Guardhouse. Which is ridiculous, considering I have only broken a few rules. Avalon used to be a vast place of freedom, a sanctuary for persecuted Fae, the Homeland where everyone had a voice. Well... Avalon is not what it used to be... Maybe the Otherworld will be big enough to spread my wings. *** What happens when a Fae leaves Avalon and befriends a Human? Yes, my book is rated mature. Though, it really isn't THAT bad. Touch Her And...
Dev, he saw the same dream every night, the same beautiful curly haired girl, looking at him with those pleading pair of eyes, but he could do nothing to save her from drowning. He tried to avoid this weird attraction towards an imaginary girl, tried to fight the growing pain inside him but what did he do when the girl from his dreams came into his life like a gust of wind? He settled to his instincts. Instincts that made him borderline obsessive. Rik, he learned to control the pain, the dream didn't bother him anymore the way it bothered his twin brother, at least that's what he told himself, that the suffocations are normal, that not finding peace at anything was normal, that painting the picture of her and keeping them secret was normal. He hated her for disturbing his peace of mind, until the day he saw her from the very front. And then he knew he will do anything to have her in his life. Teressa, being ignorant to everything, dived into a world that took her back to the darkest part of her life. A life that kept following her from the past, along with the twin brothers. The more she learnt the more pain she felt it. The growing emotion, that led her towards the truth.
