Hades has spent decades watching Kasie. He waits for her arrival in his Court, but unfortunately for him, Kasie's immortal, abandoned by her godly parents when she was just a baby. She exists just outside of his reach, living in a world he'll never be able to connect to.
Kasie knows that she's different. She always has, ever since she was abandoned by her mother when she was three months old. She's been searching for her own roots for her entire life, always feeling out of place. Yearning for something beyond her everyday life, Kasie seeks answers in the stars for her never-ending list of questions about who she is, really.
When Kasie dies under suspicious circumstances, Hades expects to see her at the Gates of the Underworld. Yet instead of the Underworld, Kasie goes to Heaven, a realm beyond his reach.
Hades finds a way to get Kasie into the Underworld, but she may not be so sure she wants to spend her Afterlife in a cold palace with a dark and handsome stranger, who also happens to be the god of the Underworld and seems to know more about her than even she does.
The Underworld spares no one, not even the daughter of gods.

This is a rewrite of my previous fan fiction "Tales of Hades and Persephone" as well as some inspiration from the original myth (and perhaps other retellings I enjoy). The Girl that Hades called Persephone
Unedited story* 21-year-old Persephone(who actually goes by Steffi since no one can spell or say her name correctly) is starting college. She's is finally two hours away from her overbearing mother, and able to live on her own. The first day, as she's walking through the forest, she meets a stranger on the bench. Dark hair, bright eyes, her stomach filled with butterflies. She was drawn to the stranger that sat on the bench. Connecting to him, they soon see each other more and more. DIVINE - A Persephone And Hades Retelling
"I've told you, Hades, I can not become your mistress." she sadly told him. She had always lived in her mother's shadow, and if she followed Hades, she would once again be living in another's shadow. Even though she loved him, she did not think she could stomach it. "I do not want you to be my mistress, Persephone, I want you to be my queen," he confessed to her. She snapped her head up to meet his eyes, searching for any sign he wanted to take his words back, but there was no remorse. And just like that, she fell ever so slightly more in love with him. "Your queen?" she asked, she had to be sure. Strangely the word had slid off her tongue gracefully as if it had belonged there. "Yes, become my queen," he told her once again, taking back the step she had taken. "Rule besides me as the goddess of spring and the Underworld."
