Rowan is your average foster kid. Moving from home to home every few months. She feels like she's finally settled down in a tiny town in Northern New Jersey in hopes of being adopted into a foster family she's lived with for two years. She's met good friends, lives with a great family. It's almost enough to distract her from her dyslexia and ADHD.
But when a dinner party goes wrong, Rowans life is turned upside down. She is quickly brought to Camp Half Blood where she finds out that she is a demigod: half mortal, half Greek god. Not only is it too much to take in, but she spends weeks unclaimed. And to add to that, her life is even more disrupted when a certain demigod catches her eye.
Unclaimed takes place after the war with Gaea and was written before Blood of Olympus was released. I had no knowledge of what happens in BOO when I started writing it!
