Long time ago a war broke between two big races the humans and monsters. After a long time humans won, enclosing them in the underground . Hundreath of years monsters have alredy collected 6 souls the seventh was from a fallen kid named Frisk, who,s soul had been combined (forcefully) with the first fallen kid named Chara, which soul was corrupcted, untill frisk help her fix it. Together they freed the monters and help the be socially accepted by humans.

She (Canonically she is gender neutral but for the sake of the fanfic they will be known as a she) befriended the entire underground by freeing them from a seemingly eternal spell that trapped them down there for many years. Though to get there Frisk had to sacrifice a friend (Asriel) and from that day on frisk just couldn't get the fact that she couldn't save someone out of her head.
