Aria Wither has a preconceived notion of how her life will play out. After the sudden death of her druggie mother, the recently orphaned 17-year-old gets shipped off to a foster family where she will live out the remaining months till her adulthood. Upon arrival, she meets the Summers. Loving mother Katerine, hard-working father Xander, and their newly adopted son, Jamie. A PTSD-stricken mute boy with a knack for randomly disappearing.
After randomly walking into Jamie's room unannounced while looking for her earbuds she is met with a chalk circle, odd liquids, and Jamie holding what appeared to be a book. Abruptly her, along with Jamie, are transported to Agorria, a fantasy would of unknown origin. When, after multiple tries, they are unable to open the portal they must seek out Ace. A supposed friend of Jamie's although he only knows his name. Follow the two as they try to find a way to return home. If they even want to go back?
