Orphaned at a young age, Emily has been moved from foster home to foster home. Now 17, she is living with the Petersons, a seemingly wonderful wealthy family. They aren't everthing they seem to be though and Emily is forced to endure regular abuse. To cope, she resorts to self harm (cutting) and is a loner at school untill the new guy, Tyler befriends her. Tyler seems to be her saving grace with his peppy persona and ever omptimistic attitude, but everyone has problems. Everyone has scars. Will Emily's problems be too much for him to hadle or can he pull her out of her shell and show her how much God really cares for her?

(I am about to undergo major edits on the entire story soon. I wrote this when I was 13, and since it is my first story, I owe it the proper creation it deserves. So him and his family take Sam in to show her that she doesn't have to hide her voice or lock herself away from the world. And with the help of his wife and four sons they just might get her to open up to them.
