This story is about Isak Valtersen, who is a second year at the Hartvig Nissen Skole. He struggles with a lot of problems, including self-harm and suicidal thoughts. He feels like everything around him is fake and he feels trapped, like in a non-existent world. In order to hold on to reality, Isak cuts himself on a daily basis - always afraid that he's just an illusion that will disappear if he doesn't cut. To get a break from everything, Isak goes to a coffee shop once a week. He usually drinks a Cappuccino there and then leaves. But one day, a new barista delivers him his coffee. And said barista catches Isak's attention. Will Isak ever talk to that new barista? You will have to find that out for yourself! She practices of managing her starvation by distracting it and never catches a break on the scale. Nobody is aware of it, it was something Rita doesn't want her friends or family to know, hiding her body from them didn't last long. Her mother noticed the dramatic weight change on her body. She tries to help her get back to her eating and tells her many times that she's "perfectly skinny" but nothing works. Her mother puts her foot down as Rita started to get ill, her mom takes her to a mental health hospital. She deals with consequences from her nurses and other patients.
