Escaping from your past isn't easy, especially when you're just a puppet in the grand scheme of things. We were young, but we never had it easy. You could say we were lucky after escaping time and time again, but our fate always brought us back. Even now, we are not what we wanted, but who we were meant to be. It's in our blood, we have no choice. We were born into something much bigger than ourselves, something that we'll never be able to fully escape from. This may appear to be an ordinary cliché story, but all those clichés give us comfort. It means that maybe one day we will have our happy ending, but that has yet to come. A normal life is impossible to reach, we know that now. We were so naive to think we could create one on our own if at all. Every day we live in fear that they'd find us. Even after travelling so far to get away, they still haunt us in our mind. We are a nurse; a thief; a persuader; and an assistant; the only family we have and need. The future is uncertain, but there's no denying our past. This is the story of how we died.Terminé

|| COMPLETED || I want to be ready for college, but I'll be leaving everything behind. I don't want to forget my mom, my friends, or the memories made. Then again, I want to move on, run away from the heart break following me. I want to be free, I need to be free. For everything that I know, college could be a restart for highschool. A time where I don't make mistakes or where bad things don't happen, but I know they will. Though focusing on the negative won't lead me anywhere. Sadly though, that's all I ever learned to focus on. Learning things about my family that disgust me, learning about family members I didn't even know existed. It's all new, like morphing into a new body, you have to learn how to control. Sadly I don't know how to control myself, I can't control my emotions. I want to be ready for college, I am. I'll be leaving everything behind, but I need to escape the pain. ☆☆ Disclaimer - Read my first book 'Reality Hits Hard' to understand this book before reading it. This book is also very childish looking back at it, but I hope you guys enjoy it!Terminé
Runaways- Runaways 1
"Hey, who are you?" I could tell he wasn't trying to scare him off while still trying to establish the fact that we could hurt him if we wanted to. "I was gonna ask you the same question," he replied. "But since to beat me to it, I'm Eli. I'm just a seventeen-year-old kid out here alone. Y'all seem to be in the same situation." His southern accent was thick but definitely not South Carolinian. It sounded more like he was from Alabama or Mississippi. "True. For how long?" "Four weeks. I ran away because of...circumstances," he said, trailing off on the last word. "Prove to us you're not dangerous," Marcus threatened. "Prove to me you're not dangerous," Eli countered. "I don't even know your names." "Fine. I'm Marcus, that's Peyton, Luke, and Aaliyah," he answered, gesturing toward each of us as he spoke. I could tell he didn't trust the guy, but he seemed good enough. He hadn't said anything to make us distrust him, but he also hadn't said anything to make us trust him. "Look, dude, I'm not trying to hurt you. I'm looking for something a friend told me about a few weeks ago. She said there was a whole network of teens out here, but there's a camp somewhere in Florida that gives them a place to stay. Secret, of course, and run by teens, but anyway, it seems safer than being out here and living off the land." "Wait, you mean there are more of us?" I asked. ☁ Three teenagers find themselves rejected by their families after they're all unexpectedly outed on the same night. With the help of their friend, they head to the streets in search of freedom and acceptance. Along the way they meet another boy, and there's more to him then they could have ever guessed. Follow each of them as they discover who they are, who they love, and more of their country's secrets than they could ever dream of in a thrilling trilogy told from all five points of view.Terminé![The Test [#1]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/35421361-256-k997048.jpg)
The Test [#1]
Survive. That's the one thing we have to do. No holding back. No second thoughts. But it's just not that simple. Every year, a group of sixteen-year-olds is chosen to represent their family. They are taken from their homes and the only way to go back home is if they pass. The Test. It could make you. It could destroy you. All you have to do, is pass. It's not one you study for. They're all different. No one is able to talk about it. Not everyone survives. And those who do, are too terrified to talk about it. One thing for sure is, you have to be focused. Any distraction can cost you. Anything could fail you.Terminé
