Danny Dragon

For centuries scientists have been trying to prove the existence of Dragons. In the quiet town of beaver City, Utah Dr. Sullivan Kane is about to discover that not only do they exist but also they live among us.

Fifteen-year-old Danny Logan is still grieving over the tragic murder of his father when he was five years old. It's the start of sophomore year and the whole school thinks his mother was the one who killed him, even after she was exonerated for his death. His best chance at surviving high school is to keep his head down, no getting into trouble and keeping his GPA well under control.
That is until the mayor's daughter of Beaver city asks him for a favor and one-night changes everything. After being struck by lightning that came out of nowhere Danny is hospitalized for three days and when he gets home things get weird. Danny's behavior starts to change. He starts having nightmarish dreams where people are getting murdered; his senses have been heightened and has a powerful craving for seafood. On a morning jog, it finally began. A tornado made of fire swoops down from the sky and in minutes Danny is a ferocious fire-breathing dragon. With no one to turn to Danny seeks the help of his history teacher and his best friend to discover how this happened. As he learns to control his dragon side and win the heart of his high school crush, he'll need help from other classmates when a hit was sent out to kill him and his friends. Once they're all defeated the real monster comes to turn the small town of beaver city into the inferno's all you can eat buffet.
The fate Beaver City is in his hands and while Danny will be fighting deadly infernos, witches, and assassins he'll also be dealing with the drama of high school.
