Mystery
I was relaxing on the porch of the house after completing my homework my parents gave me before going to Uncle Wiko's house. Aunt Nur came with a cup of hot coffee and put it next to me. "Here, Non, the coffee," said Aunt Nur. I was shocked. Since when do I like coffee and when do I order it? Not yet to protest, a postman stopped in front of my porch. Pressing the bell and forcing me to get up and approach him. When I got there, the postman disappeared without a trace. I came back in shock. I looked around but I couldn't find anything. Disappointingly, I set foot in the yard. And I found a plate of fried rice on the table on the porch. "It looks like Aunt Nur is going." I said and went inside, to the second floor where my room is. I opened the door of the room but something strange happened, the door was locked! I was shocked again. It was clear this morning that the door was open. Then I went to the kitchen to get a backup key. I smelled fresh and slightly sweet when I entered the kitchen. I thought Aunt Nur just cut fish or meat and forgot to clean the leftovers. Yeah ... I don't think about it anymore. I took the back-up lock of the room hanging on the wall next to the fridge.

It may be a small town. But it has its many secrets. ----------------------------- I sat down at the table and drummed my fingers on top of it, waiting for my food. Dad flipped two big pancakes into a plate and placed them in front of me. "Your favorite syrup is on the table," Dad informed. "And before I forget, could you take your sister to that antique shop that just opened up? They sell dolls there, and well...I accidentally broke one of Amy's dolls." I picked up the bottle of syrup and poured some syrup on my pancakes. "Nice one, Dad." After I had finished eating breakfast, Kira asked if she could tag along. I quickly denied, telling her that I was a big boy, and scooped up Amy. We headed out and downtown. That is where most of the shops are. We reached the new antique store, and I happened to peer through the window and saw... "...Mom?" ----------------------------- If you like adventure, mystery, humor, or cliffhangers, then this is the book for you! Cover: Recolor Copyright by Ash J. All Rights Reserved
