Daemunters are a race with half angel, half human blood with runes that give them supernatural abilities, which enables them to hunt down and kill demons at night.
Every 50 years, a Daemunter will be named "The Chosen One" by the angels. The Demon King is under a seal which will only break once every 66 years on August the 8th, which means on this day in the year of The Chosen One's 16th birthday, he or she must seal away the Demon King again for another 66 years.
