August, his dad and his dad's girlfriend were all members of the Whitefire Pack. August's mother died after he was born which convinced his father that he was the cause of her death. Although his home life was rough, Auggie had his friends readily at his side.

Auggie never had an attraction towards anyone and was more than determined to meet his mate. As soon as August turns 18 he will be out of the house and in search of his mate just like everyone else. He was more than thankful that all of the packs agreed to make a trip up into the mountains for a whole mating season...but if he leaves mateless he will be rejected from his entire pack and will be forced to go rogue.
