Elizabeth Meyers and her friend James have laughed, fought, cried, and lived together for centuries. They are immortal. In the woods they come across a group of supernaturals living together in an old castle. Elizabeth doesn't say anything, but the palace is hers. And the shades of former palace servants and guards are calling to her, pleading for her to take back her throne. But Elizabeth doesn't want to... she wants to die. She's tired of everlasting life. When her demon gives her a way to do so, she will stop at nothing to get what she desires.
