Anwyr collects memories, like how magpies collect colored glass and some people collect old coins. Unlike coin collectors, however, Anwyr doesn't just keep their trinkets for fun- they're one of the last memory mages alive, and they use their gifts to sell their stories to anyone willing to pay. While their collection comes with its fair share of mysteries, Anwyr has never been interested in solving them- but that changes when they wake up from a memory transfer with memories that aren't their own, and a dangerous new magic on their hands. Now, caring or not, Anwyr needs to answer the questions Saba left them with, or else their story may be the last one they tell. --- ❝ wнy woυld ѕoмeone wanт тo ѕтeal a мeмory?❞ ❝ вecaυѕe тo reмeмвer ιѕ тo revιve тнe already dead, and ѕoмe тнιngѕ are вeттer leғт ғorgoттen.❞

There are many millions of parallels. Worlds living and breathing at the same time - time doesn't even exist, 18th century England is living and breathing alongside the present day. While London is living in the past, Afalon is pushing toward it's future. 7 sons, a rare and lucky amount, are Princes in line to the throne. Melanie is in the 18th century, conning each village out of their wares in exchange to see but an inch into their future. Then, after an unlucky exchange, she's dragged into the floating court-city of Afalon in the Æther - another world entirely - to stand trial for someone else crimes. Trial by fire. Trial without end. Ameline has been busy pillaging and murdering her way through Afalon for months, making the ælfin pay for what they did to her family. Then, on a whim, she decides to go big or go home. She kills one of the Seven Princes. Those same princes who embody the attributes of each deadly sin... Now, another girl is brought from her homeworld, Earth, to stand trial for Ameline's own crimes. Worse still... she recognizes her face so, so much. It's her own. A doppelgänger. A modern twist on terrible childhoods and anti-heros. Melanie and Ameline's story is a page-turner you certainly need to start, but with such tragedy and twisting themes of joy and horror you'll want to finish. Next chapter: never because no one wants me to 😀 11/04/21 ARE PEOPLE READING THIS I CANT TELL WHY IS IT RANKED SO HIGH??? SHOULD I FINISH HER Last update: - Word count: 100,000.
