The Potter's Apprentice

Asher Thomas always wanted to work alongside the local pottery maker Josiah Michaels and create works of art that make a difference in his small community. However, that chance seems to fall apart when he encounters and later befriends a vagabond named Benjamin Jacobson against his mother's wishes. In his desire for friendship, Asher becomes angrier and more aggressive, destroying several of Josiah's precious artworks in the process.

Shocked but not deterred by what he's done, Asher's relationship with his mother grows distant, but that changes when he meets and later befriends another vagabond named Matthias. Torn between his two friends, Asher is unaware of a war brewing in his community. One that he cannot see.
