Haley is a professional rhythmic gymnast who experienced an injury that made her doubt about her future as a gymnast. About the same year her boyfriend left her as he didn't like the idea of her being a gymnast. She was very busy and he wanted to spend time with her. She had only had one crush in her entire life and that has broken her heart. A lot of years passed since that first crush. When Noah comes along, a professional basketball player, her heart beats at a faster rate, her beats per minute increase every time she sees him. She can rely on him and they get each other. Something in her changes the idea she had of love at first sight and the dream of going to the Olympics suddenly becomes something she can accomplish.
