We have been running for an hour, there are many cuts all along my hand and I have broken one of my heels. I can't hear anything except my heart pounding in my ear. So I decreased my pace to calm my heart and to see if we are being followed anymore. I signaled for everyone to stop.
" I don't think we are being followed anymore," I said. 
" I guess you are right," Jim said. There was a long cut across his chest and his shirt was soaked
 " Oh my God! Is that blood? Are you hurt?" I asked. 
"Nah, it's just a scratch, it's not even...."  But his sentence was drowned by a gunshot

"Let me leave" I growl trying again but he does it again, I quickly step the other side successfully getting round him. But just as I reach the door, his hand slams it shut I look at the door trying to control my anger. "Never, I'd never let you go" he says, voice slightly deeper and just above a whisper. I growled angrily at him and turn to face him, once again his eyes flash with emotions i dont understand. "What's the point in this Oscar, you clearly don't want me here, don't want me-" I started but completely gob smacked when he suddenly says. "Shut up!" My eyes widen as his did for a second before his eyes flick down for a second and I heard him mumble "that came out harsher then intended" My anger flares as I push his chest, it did nothing and he didnt move. "All I'll ever be to you is some broken, disgusting monster kid that doesn't do anything for you, so just let me leave Oscar. Let's say enough to this now" I snaps turning to try open the door. I was then suddenly grabbed and turned instantly, he pressing me hard against the door. "I dont find you broken nor disgusting" he growls, eyes flashing again before something seemed to flash in his eyes, a darker Oscar arrived and I was completely down for. "does this-" He suddenly grabs my hips and pulls them flash against his, pushing his front forward slightly. Something hard poked me, causing my face to redden. Which is hard when I have Dimitri's abnormally large hand around my throat and his eyes are glowing purple and his fangs have came out. I am on the verge of fucking passing out with tears welling up in my eyes. All this happened because Aphrodite told me to come in this forbidden room to get a formal dress and whatever jewelry I shall need for the ball that is coming up. I had ran my hands over all the gorgeous gowns in this room before deciding on a red chiffon cinderella ball gown that had this gorgeous sweetheart neckline. I tried to find the jewelry she had mentioned when I spotted a small wooden jewelry box with their family crest on it. I had opened the box to find 4 rings. Two larger ones and two smaller ones. All four had their family crest on it with a ruby in the center of the rings. Dimitri had walked by the opened door and saw me looking in the box. And this is how I have ended up with his hand tight around my throat. Slam "I told you never to come in this room!" Dimitri roared. His hand is slowly tightening around my throat. It's getting harder to try to get out of his hold. "I.." He interrupted me. "You what!?" He yells. "Can't." I couldn't finish my sentence. "I can't hear you!" He growls low and dangerous. "Breathe!" I struggle to get out. Slam!! My skull echoed throughout the room for the 4th time. My head has bounced off the wall. Oxygen is slowly leaving my body and I can barely hold on. I'm going to die in his hand if he doesn't move it. My tears are now falling down my face and hitting the floor by my bare feet. "If I ever see you in here again I will..." He never got to finish his sentence because Orion has tackled his brother off me. "What the hell Dim! You could have killed her. She's fucking human you idiot, you cannot go Hulk on her. Prologue I used to have a nightmare when I was younger. It was always the same order and the same impact. It started with the warmth of sand consuming my feet. I looked up to see a warzone. There were flashes of fire, water, and lightning. It was like a war of the gods. Suddenly I felt the heat on my back. I turned to see neon red and yellow flames consume me. I ran to hide in the bushes that were next to me, feeling out of breath I tried to calm myself down. Strands of dark red hair covered my face. I proceeded to swipe my hair and look at my surroundings. I heard sobbing coming from near me. I trudged through the bushes and toward the sobbing when I got to under a willow tree. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked. I saw a girl with long dark red hair being the cause of the sobbing. She had a huge gash on her forehead with blood trailing down her face. She also had burns on her arms and shirt. The boy was in much worse condition. He was covered in burns, she was covering his face with only his hair showing. They both had the same colored hair. Suddenly my necklace started to glow with an amber color. The girl in front of me had a similar amber glow. Two amber crowns sat on top of the pillow. One female and one male crown sat on top of the pillow. Once I walked closer the glow came back. Once I grabbed the tiara everything became white. I was once again in another room, I attempted to move but I mysteriously couldn't. A neon purple bolt of lightning hit my chest. We both locked eyes with each other. Was that me? Before I could find out, the ground started to be drained into a whole. I was sucked into the drain and everything soon became black and I was free-falling. My back soon hit the ground of the room. I rose to look at the surroundings of the new room I was in. I fell to my knees from the pain. Then a person walked forward and grabbed my face.

And he was right. Our ending is that one fucked up movie that no on wants to go see. "SO YOU AREN'T WILLING TO RISK IT ALL!?! I yelled louder as the rain came pouring down. He turned on his heal and stomped twords me pulling me close to him leaveing no space between us. His lips came crashing down on mine making the butterflies in my stomach errupt with pleaseure. He pulled away and sighed as did I. He grabbed my hand and ran his thumb over the knuckle of my thumb over my tattoo thanks to his stupid game of dare or dare. "Look at the perspective of things Vana. You might see a smily face but I don't. I see a sad face. You don't want my happy ending. Trust me." He said and sighed again. "I love you so much Vana." He said and kissed the top of my head and then walked back over to his house. But he didn't really love me. If he did he would be willing to risk it all just like I am. But I am left just like Kyle had suspected. Alone and heart broken in the rain. Because I was always the one willing to risk it all. For him.

They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it.
