Bede, the new Fairy-type Gym Leader, is invited to visit the Isle of Armor along with countless other gym leaders from their respective cities, to enjoy and explore the various sights and Pokemon.
And, this invitation was sent out by none other than Mustard himself; The longest-reigning Champion of Galar, the former Fighting-type gym leader and the creator of the Master Dojo, the exclusive training facility where it was rumored Champion Leon trained at when he was a boy.
But, the moment Bede steps foot on the island, he is instantly confronted with a problem. A tall, blonde-haired, blue-eyed problem he just can't seem to get out of his head. He definitely didn't see this coming on his vacation....

Avery, a proud student of the Master Dojo and descendant of the longest bloodline of Galarian psychics, has a problem. Specifically, a curly-haired, violet eyed, stubbornly prideful kind of problem. Bede. The protege of his Master's close friend, Opal.
From the moment he almost ran him over with Rapidash, Avery just couldn't stop thinking about him. It wasn't like they were friends; If anything, they were bitter enemies. The nerve of him, leaving the proud Psychic type to play in the woods with fairies! But there was just something about him that drove Avery WILD.
Maybe it was his smug, confident smile every time he boasted about how great he was. Maybe it was the way his eyes twinkled with joy every time he pounded his opponents into dust. Or maybe it was his very punchable face. But he knew there was something else.
Never in a million years would Avery admit his deepest, darkest secret. Three little words he had only whispered once to his best friend on the roof of the Tower of Darkness. Something that might make the family he worked so hard to get leave if they found out.
