The words sounded foreign coming out of his mouth, a bitter thing to admit seeing as he's been trying to ignore the uneasy feeling for the past few weeks. It was almost hard to say, considering he's been told off about it since he had first brought it up a while ago. The words coming shaky out of his mouth, his voice a little raspy, like he needed to cough it all up. He wasn't going crazy, he knows so. Even so, he felt insane saying the phrase out loud to someone rather than in his head to himself where it's been running around his brain for a while now. A deep, long inhale could be heard from the other side of the receiver, held for a few seconds of silence, and then an even longer exhale. "David-" "Okay, okay, I know. Before ye say anythin', just let me explain myself, ok? Thoroughly, this time." He said, forcing the words out fast before the other could say anything. There was another pause before another sigh, and he took it as his cue to speak.
