Enter Garth, an adolescent tiger raised by a pride of lions on the savanna. He's not really sure how he got here -- only that he's now the son of the king and queen, and no one else in the Haki pride seems to like him. Worse yet, his father is looking to give him the throne before long.....and the Haki pride isn't the only one against it. Enter Sauda, son of the dying king of the Mwako pride. His father has been the only source of peace between the prides for years, but Sauda is more than ready to take down the Haki pride....and he's planning on taking Garth down with it. It isn't easy being a tiger living in a lion's world. But if he's going to save the only family he's ever known, Garth must step up to the challenge of facing down Sauda....and his own doubt.
