Quick facts (PLEASE READ)
- Not fully influenced by the moon's cycle, just represents when the powers are more active/powerful
- Can control all types of shifts, including partial, half and full shifts but takes a lot of training, hard work and power as well as a stable mind (more will be explained later)
- First shift happens after first kill - animal or another human, doesn't matter
- Only a select few within the clans are part of the paranormal and can tell who is who. Very much live in harmony most times.
- There are the 'Borders' who are perfectly human but know about the paranormal
- Paranormal, not supernatural as there are more than witches and werewolves
- Since the first of their kind, male witches - or warlocks - only gain their power at 18 to 20. Either when they encounter another witch or have an extreme case of adrenaline rush. Female witches are born with their powers though fully manifest when they are toddlers - let us just say baby babble is dangerous as a witch, no explanation needed :)

However, that was before he met and bonded with Toothless, a night fury he had shot down weeks ago. Now, he wanted to escape, but not without attempting to convince the vikings that dragons weren't the real threat. He thought his monstrous nightmare match would be the perfect setting for such a feat. When things go sideways, when Toothless saves Hiccup, he has a choice, stay and try one last shot of convincing Berk, or flee with his best friend. He chooses the best option, he flees. Now, he is branded as a trator, a renegade. Stoick practically disowns him and he is never heard from again. five years later, Berk hears mighty tales of a grand hero who rides a night fury. Many call him 'Night Rider', 'Dragon Tamer', and 'Mysterious Rider'. Many doubted that this hero could be their traitorous ex heir to the Berkian leadership. So he decided to take matters into his on hands by running away or flying away from berk, not the best move but knowing he was know as the village runt or the Chief's screwup and would always get beat up for no valid reasons by his cousin and his friends, sure he pass every training with a prefect score but he still did not get the respect that he deserve from the villagers. If he so tried to convince them. No one would listen to him. Not even his own father. But he wasn't running away with just Toothless but with Astrid as well. After their romantic flied which also change her view on dragons, and their discovery of the red death, Hiccup was still planning to run away even though he have just finally friended an actual human, he decided to tell her so he don't have to let her worry about him leaving without a word in the next day. When he finish telling her his plan and surprisingly to hiccup and even Toothless she beg to come with and she also told him her reason. Turns out Astrid Hofferson was abused and pressured by her own family. She have enough of it, Hiccup didn't really have yes as his first nor second choice but she beg him until he gave up and let her tag along. What would happen to them?, will this new path that choose was path to a bright future?,will something spark between them? (Obviously). What would the village have to say about this?
