Afterall, someone can only stay away from the person they're in love with for so long. One argument and a couple of confessions later leaves them on a confusing path that has the opportunity to be beautiful or disastrous. Love is magical but it is also savage. For Aphrodite and Thanatos, they are each other's downfalls and each others saviors. How long they last is up to them. How much they go through to get together is up to fate. Unfortunately, they're still stuck doing whatever task is assigned to them by their miserly employer. Whatever pittance they are gifted has to be supplemented by mundane work under the burning sun, shoulder to shoulder with the sweating masses of the city. These, however, are the necessary burdens for the future they desire, burdens that have been shouldered by generations of thieves. Certainly, nothing so capricious that the accidental theft of a simple paintbrush could disturb it... Imagine the surprise when after its discovery, they are pursued by strange men, and stranger monsters, intent on their death, and the brush's retrieval. With only their wits, and the help of a few friends, the pair of thieves are thrown into a struggle to find out the mystery of the strange artifact before they, or the life they cling to, are lost forever.

It starts in London 1557, when two people were in an argument until they had to defeat each other in order to gain power and trust, however one of them ended up getting trapped inside the sword. This makes the sword more powerful and ends up automatically killing them both chasing a huge explosion. Now it moves onto 2010 when 2 boys become friends as kids they grow together while one has a bad life and the other has a good fantasy that the other one always wanted. The boys were named Derik and Adam, Adam was a good kid and had a good life. He was 15 and it was 2019. Derik was 17 and graduated high school. A while after, in 2022 Adam stole Derik's dream job, soon Adam became friends with Derik's biggest crush. Derik remained a failure even though he graduated, no one accepted him and called him a Dork. Even after Adam was the reason Derik's dog got killed. That was when he ghosted Adam and never spoke to him or saw him again. Later in 2026 Adam is an investigator and noticed that a scar on the ground was shaped like a sword. like it was there for years but he didn't think much of it until buildings started being burnt down 7 times. That was when he got concerned to find out who is doing this. Derik soon slowly left the plot for a while but who knows what's going on. A disaster was even caused 2 years later that never ended. Derik was pronounced dead in 2022 and Adam even forgot about him so he never knew. However his happiness was going to come to an end.

Summer break? Nah, it's heist time. The heirs to crime family syndicate work together and against each other as twisting plots for dominance run over each other over a piping hot summer. Loosely based on the first half of the Elizabethan Drama, Edward III. Feels like an indie drama. Trigger/ Content Warnings: Rape is discussed at length (no voilence on page). A character believes they are going to be raped. Some sexual innuendos. A teenage character does illegal drugs and drinks on page. Some on page violence. Children commit crimes on page and are encouraged to do so by adults. Be aware of your mental state and seek help as needed. More information below if needed, there are spoilers: A female character believes a male character is going to rape them. This goes on for the majority of the book. There is no violence and the other character never intends to commit rape, however it is implied that he is aware the female character is upset and does not seem to care, however he ceases advances when he realizes she is genuinely afraid of him and not merely nervous. That said the female character spends most of the book contemplating escaping the situation by whatever means necessary.
