This is exactly what Jasmine Hernandez's parents wanted for her. They want her to be an excellent student, which she is. Being valedictorian throughout high school was an extraordinary feat, but she felt as if she was pushed too hard, by everyone around her, especially her parents. She thinks that college will finally be her chance to escape, but without their "helpful" push, will she still be as successful?
Crystal Knox, on the other hand, is quite different. Her she is an orphan so, no one is around to really give her that helpful push. Her best friend, Maddie is the one exception, who she plans to room with for the upcoming four years. She got in on a dual scholarship for basketball, and for her amazing grades, being salutatorian at her old school, West Prep.
What will happen when the disciplined meets the wild? The crazy meets the calm? Only time will tell in this college/university story, "Understand"

Our path into the college baseball recruiting experience started much like most other families in youth baseball: We knew nothing. What originally started out as an activity to play on the weekends with our sons and their friends, grew over the years into a lifestyle never expected. 19 years later, two of my sons have been successfully recruited to play college baseball, and my oldest has just completed his 3rd season of professional baseball. Baseball people have always told us that "If you can play the Game in high school - you can play the Game in college: It doesn't matter where you play. After watching my sons play baseball in Park City, Utah, where we average 411-inches of snow annually, I'd agree.
