At Dreamers Academy we accept everyone, no matter what. This is exactly what Jasmine Hernandez's parents wanted for her. They want her to be an excellent student, which she is. Being valedictorian throughout high school was an extraordinary feat, but she felt as if she was pushed too hard, by everyone around her, especially her parents. She thinks that college will finally be her chance to escape, but without their "helpful" push, will she still be as successful?

Crystal Knox, on the other hand, is quite different. Her she is an orphan so, no one is around to really give her that helpful push. Her best friend, Maddie is the one exception, who she plans to room with for the upcoming four years. She got in on a dual scholarship for basketball, and for her amazing grades, being salutatorian at her old school, West Prep.

What will happen when the disciplined meets the wild? The crazy meets the calm? Only time will tell in this college/university story, "Understand"
