Intergalactic Interlopers

25 year old John Matt works in a dead-end office job and has lived a very boring life. The last time that there was anything truly exiting to him was when he was a little kid and was incredibly infatuated with aliens, in which that passion died off when he was young. He feels mostly okay with his life, but every once in a while, he can't help but wish for something exiting to happen, but he always brushes it off quickly. After all, there could never be intelligent life out there, right?

48 veron old (24 year old) Xan Chant has always lived his life on the edge. He can quite easily throw himself in horrible situations and manage to snake his way out of them via pure dumb luck. Desperate to look cool, he travels to an uncharted and dangerous planet within the cosmos and makes an oh-so-casual pit-stop there. But one of these days, his fantastic luck shall run out, causing him to land into a situation that he never expected to be a part of.
