Ryn Alera has only known slavery throughout her life. The last place she expected to find help was with the Empire. When Ryn is due to serve the rest of her life on Kessel, she makes a stand for her freedom. When a rogue stormtrooper helps her escape, Ryn finds herself trapped in a whirlwind of war and danger. Gradually, she adjusts to her new life on the run, and later, in the Rebellion. As she grows closer with Jess, the man who helped her escape, her values begin to change. She wasn't born a fighter, but if the galaxy's freedom requires it, she will be a soldier. Warning This book, while being a work of fiction, still contains real elements and deals with the subject of war. There will be chapters that deal with abuse, death, slight gore, etc. (Canon characters as well as planets within the Star Wars universe are not created by me. Luna already looks nine months pregnant and doesn't know when the baby is due, it could be a while like a year, because that what happens in Zeb's species, (I actually don't know if that's true or not, but I'm doing it anyways.) the women look nine months pregnant. Luna met Zeb when Kanan saved Zeb and her and Zeb fell in love, got married, and now Luna is pregnant. Luna looks up to Kanan like a father because Kanan took Luna in when she was very young and was on the streets. Kanan treats Luna like his own daughter and he took care of her.
