She is possessed by a demon. The only way is to cast it out is to kill seven people - each being serial killers themselves.

An unlikely event happens at the park where Scarlet is reading. A weird man walks up to her, asking too many questions. The other people at the park are enjoying themselves. Kids, adults, and teenagers. The man pulls out a gun, but the only one freaking out is Scarlet.
