It was common knowledge that even in the Wizarding World, coming back from the dead was unheard of. However, when it comes to the Potters, people have learned to expect the unexpected.
The threat of Voldemort continued to loom over Great Britain, despite the Ministry's insistence that it was all false, an ingenious plan by Dumbledore to take over as Minister of Magic.
From finally being able to get to know his parents, being hated by most of the Wizarding World and developing powers he didn't know he was capable of, Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts was bound to be his most perplexing one yet.
(Note: the original version of this was written several years ago when I was much younger, so I am currently in the process of editing the existing chapters before I try to finish it! Thanks for reading! x)

James and Lily Potter have been dead for 12 years, both falling victim to the killing curse by the hand of the darkest wizard of all time. Their son, Harry, remains the only wizard known to have survived the killing curse. Having grown up with his Aunt, Uncle, and cousin, he never felt like he truly had a home until he went to Hogwarts.
