Once Burning

Cathelyn's world is on fire, it's been burning for longer than she could ever know.
Cath never knew of the secrets her brother had kept from her until the day she woke up on fire. When her village is attacked and her mother kidnapped by corrupted soldiers looking for Cath and her newfound magic, she has to leave. When the mysterious boy in the woods agrees to help her she knows she has no other choice. The only way to save her mother is to give herself to the enemy, and if that's what it takes, that's what she'll do.
Her brother, Caspian, refuses to let her go, but she won't listen to a liar. Now Caspian has to find a way to stop her before she reaches the enemy or else she'll face a fate worse than death. Caspian's the only one that knows the truth about Cath and he'll do anything to keep it that way, even travel across kingdoms hunting her down, until he meets a mysterious boy of his own.
