Tsuyuri Kanao is dead. Strangely, what came before this was blank and empty, she had no memories as a living human, not even a single hint how she died. Living in 14th District of Rukongai, many years had passed in a blur with vague memories how she first lived here as a soul.
One day, when Kanao was in her usual pastime, she was approached by a Shinigami. The Shinigami tried to befriend her but she didn't gave the satisfaction to respond. When the Shinigami left her, she thought everything would go back as usual, but instead, it created a ripple of encounters.
All because of a single meeting from a Shinigami named Kusajishi Yachiru.

She died. This was the only memory she had, nothing about what caused her death. Currently residing in 14th District in Rukongai, she never expected she would get noticed by a small pink-haired Shinigami of all people.

Death followed Ichigo with a near obsessive persistence. Though, she was partially at fault for about six years of her life. She chose to become a demon slayer after all. But, death still persisted to be her curse. Her mother died and she lost her father to grief. She met Nēsan and found love in her and her family... until her parents were killed by demons right in front of them. They were saved by Himejima-san before they could be killed and their paths were set in stone. They became demon slayers, Ichigo taking a new name and becoming Kochō Shinobu to protect her own family. Things looked better, until Kanae is killed by that fucking demon. Ichigo swears revenge and takes on the duties of the Head of the Butterfly Estate as well as Insect Hashira. Every one of her Tsuguko except for Kanao had been killed, the families of her girls, and every demon slayer she failed to save from their injuries. She was furious. And then the battle against Kibitsuji Muzan and his Demon Moons. She was determined to kill the bastard who killed Nēsan. Even if she killed herself in the process. Yet, she survives the impossible and now, everything is over. They won. Unfortunately, her job isn't done just yet. - A KNY/Bleach Crossover (thrice again), but Ichigo is Kochō Shinobu and she has to deal with the side effects of the victorious war against the demons while being forced into the hurricane of Shinigami, another war looming over her, and the Soul Society being idiots. This is the third installment of a planned, 18 part series. I have decided (stupidly and incredibly stressfully) to create a story for each breathing style (and one for demon, kakushi, Ubuyashiki, and swordsmith) where Ichigo is a demon slayer of each breathing style. Yes, I know I did this to myself, but I feel like it would be really fun (and stressful. Very stressful, but shut up). Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this installment! It was the voice of her mother, even her older brother, and it echoed in her mind despite the growing pain of falling and getting thrown down multiple times. Demons. It was unbelievable. When she woke up... she saw a boy, a few years older than her. He seemed bright and caring, something new for the girl. What happens after that? What troubles will the girl face after that incident?
