Sorry it sucks, this is my first story.
Virgil has no friends at his school, and his abusive family doesn't help. He has wings and animal qualities. He's the odd outcast at school, and the only person who he has to protect is his sister. The only person who he loves. Until Patton and his friend group come into the picture. He becomes friends somehow, and they learn of his wings and his... qualities. But he has some other important secrets they have yet to find out.
