He quickly grows in stature and intelligence till he is brought before the Pope. His life is soon thrown into turmoil as he spends more time at the Vatican, and also with a young girl named Lucille who he begins to confide in. Murder and mayhem seem to follow him wherever he goes till he finally discovers the truth about his life.
