"Have you applied to a university yet?"

"What did you get on that math quiz?"

"Wanna hang?"

Avery Hawley can't answer a single one of these questions, and not because of lack of ideas or opinions. She has plenty of those.

She lacks one thing ever since that fateful summer after 10th grade, when she became a victim to violence and lost what she realized was the most important part of herself: her voice.

At first, she was optimistic. But when her life took an even darker turn, where she began losing everyone and everything precious to her, Avery began losing herself, starting with her voice and soon her dreams- her will to live.

Until one day, a new student joins the eleventh grade at Crescent High- Layla Rasheed. Layla is beautifully optimistic and daring, with a dose of wit and wisdom. Can she help Avery recover and make her whole before Avery falls too far into the abyss she made for herself?

#1 in spiritual in 16/6/2019 Previously known as " My very own hijabi" Two young people finding shelter within each other from the world and its evils Jannah Mohamed is not your typical hijabi, she is an introvert, her traumatic past has turned her into the person she is today. Her senior year was supposed to be a regular year if it wasn't for a stupid bet. James Wayne is your typical filthy rich popular bully whose money and extreme good looks help him get away with everything he does. Jannah will teach him that he can't get everything he wants. What happens when two worlds collide?! Teaser " Because....because you like me, I know that you like me, but you are trying to suffocate your feelings, you are trying to bury them under the mountain of disappointments you have in your life, you are acting like you don't care, but you do care, very much actually, more than I can imagine, more than anybody can imagine, that's why you always try your best to hide it very Well, I know you care because I can see the spontanous smile that is drawn on your face once you see me, the luster in your eyes When you see me, I know this because I see myself in them, and this is the only reflection of myself that I like, that I love " he said, as tears kept playing at the corners of his eyes. I was speechless, my mind has betrayed me, I just stood there starring at him as he ran away, I couldn't even ask him to stop or come back for me, he just ran away, like a prey from a predator, and I felt guilty about it, he was my victim. [totally unedited and my first time at writing so I hope you guys bear with the flaws and read if you are going to] "I don't know why, but I tend to be a magnet that attracts all the problems around me and that's why I'm left with nothing but reasons." Bree Adams , she's the school's nerd or rather that's the mask she puts on when she's in school. She's a billionaire's daughter but she doesn't have friends or rather she doesn't want to have any. There is a reason she's doing this. No one knew the reason and the ones who know are only her family . Her eighteenth birthday turned out to be a disaster. She's bullied in school and doesn't do anything to stop it. No one usually noticed her. Until someone actually, does. Aiden Waters, the schools badass notices her. The walls she's been building begin to fall apart. All she knew is she had to wait for answers. Is this going to end on a good note or a bad one? Stay tuned to know!!
