Guardian angels. They watch over humans. Guiding and directing them to the right path. When Azazel was finally completed his training, he was assigned to someone. A loud, sarcastic human paired up with a meek angel seems like a splendid idea... But the 'fun' only escalates when it turns out his human has some demons too. And that's not even a metaphor for a 'dark' side to her. With the weird tension between the two and an angry demon following along, this can only go so well.
