Everything that Eve touches dies: people, dreams, relationships. If Eve comes near it, it comes to ruin. Life wasn't supposed to be this way though. Being a healer was supposed to be easy and fun. That's how her mother made it look. Eve was warned to be careful what she asked for, because power always comes at a price. But, when tragedy strikes her family, all Eve can think to do is ask for the gift she always wanted, and her request is granted. Now that Eve finally has the gift and all that comes with it, her life changes in unexpected, and terrifying ways. As a woman, all Eve wants is to return the gift to its sender, whoever that may be. This is part one of a series following the life of Eve Adams, a woman with the gift of healing.
