Before the Spring Preliminary, the Karasuno Boys Volleyball Team had lost in the Interhigh Tournament. After that fall, they made a decision to train until they saw results but there are some issues that will come along the way. The third-years are called to focus on their college studies and leave the team while some underclassmen are having trouble of their own. Finals are coming up and they have organized a match with Nekoma High which is in Tokyo. Before they leave for Tokyo there is a new face brought to the team. Not as a player but as a manager.
