It All Started In Rehab ✓
He used to be one of TV's most beloved actors. He had the good looks, played the golden boy characters and had the voice that millions would be jealous of. He was in the spotlight and talked about daily, until one day he just wasn't. He just seemed to disappear, and with everything else going on, the mystery of where he went faded quickly, Hollywood moved on. I was one of those that didn't follow all of the Hollywood drama, but I knew who he was; everyone did. I never thought I would see his face on magazines again, and I never once thought that Hollywood's golden boy would be sitting in front of me with lifeless eyes and an attitude that warned you not to approach him. I never expected to meet him in person ever, but the last place I would ever expect to see him would be Rehab. In here no one cared who you were, all that mattered was the addiction and the fact that we all knew at this point our lives have fallen apart. Some would be put back together, and some were destroyed beyond being fixed. Nothing ever prepared us for the addiction we would face, but even worse is no one and nothing can prepare you for the up's and down's and the trials you would face, the unexpected people you would connect with, the heartbreaking stories, the late night talks, the friends you would make and the friends you would lose. Nothing could prepare you for the horrors and happiness found here that you would be forced to live with for the rest of your life. When your whole world has changed, what do you do to overcome grief and keep your loved one's memory alive? *** I never knew how much trauma could affect a person until after my older brother died unexpectedly on August 17th, 2021. I came out of the experience as not the Victoria I was used to, but the Victoria who now had a massive hole in her heart. I come from a long line of fighters. My family and I pulled off different strategies to help us move on from such a devastating death, strategies that I am going to share in this book. Sometimes, the best way to overcome grief is to write about it. After all, writing is an escape to a different world where I still have my Green Guardian. These pieces and pictures I'm going to share with you are not meant to depress anybody, but to illustrate just how wonderful a person Matthew was. His story is sad, but it's a story of hope. I felt his body close to mine, I knew it was him because my body awoken in way it hasn't before. Not since I met him. I turned around, my back leaning against the fridge door. We were so close, I watch his eyes travel up and down my body before he locks his lips quickly before meeting my eye. "fez" I whispered when our lips were inches apart, his body left mine suddenly and I watch as he walks towards the door. I frown as I watch him lean up grabbing the shutters to pull them down. "fez you have a business to run" I spoke out, unsure of what is actually happening. I know what I want to happen, what I dream would happen. But I've always been a dreamer. "I have a big problem-" I heard his voice ring out, as the shutters hit the ground then he locked the door. He turned around to look at me, his eyes were darker. He looked a thousand times hotter. "a big fucking problem" he said again as he started making his way towards me, his hand come up and knocked on the fridge door. After a moment I heard the door out the back open and close, ashtray had left. "what's the problem? Maybe I-I can help" I felt so many emotions right now, some I'm used to and some that are fucking new. "I doubt that-" he mumbles as he was once again infront of me, one hand was above my head leaning on the fridge door. The other came down to touch my face. "I can't get you out my fucking head, your like a drug" he suddenly said before his hands go to my waist and he pulls my body against his before slamming his lips into mine. ~~~ Nothing in life was easy, including life itself but when you find someone who makes it easier nothing else matters. Beyond Her Exterior
She lived her life as if it was normal and everything was okay. But in reality, that was never the case, She was struggling. Her life wasn't as easy as she tried to make it seem. She went to school, pretending to be happy all the time so her friends didn't become suspicious. And then she went home, to watch her 'father' throw his life away as he shot up in his arm. She hated seeing him locking himself in the bathroom only to come out ten minutes later, high out of his mind. He scared her; He did weird things when he was like that. From walking into her room and just staring around and then leaving without saying a word, to yelling at her and throwing whatever was in arms reach at her. She was suffering, but she still tried to make herself look like she was okay. Nobody suspected anything odd going on in her life. Afterall, she was Alexis Deaken, Everyone believed her life was perfect. They evyed her, they believed she had everything.
