Draco certainly wasn't expecting McGonagall to pick him as Head Boy but Harry Potter declined and as per usual, he was the second choice. Unsure what the people back in school had in store for then after all the Death Eater business they were involved in, he returns to Hogwarts with his friends to finish their education anyway.
