Story of Us

This story is adapted from the novel by Nicholas Sparks called "The Notebook". It centers on the relationship of Kyle and Nika Johnson. Over the decades, their love endures unsettled beginning and Nika's eventual diagnosis of Amnesia. The story that the readers engages with is the same one that a man named Kyle reads to Nika in their house everyday. Nika doesn't recognize Kyle, only that he comes to their house and reads her the notebook that contains all there stories and letters to each other. Kyle loves her and enjoys his time with her but also holds out hope that the story will bring all the memories and bring the old Nika back to him.
