“Why put so much effort into all this? He hardly even notices you anymore Lola!” Logan scowled, his eyebrows furrowed. He didn’t know, he wouldn’t understand.

“You would never get it” I mumbled, I stepped out of the red heels I wore and grabbed them off the ground deciding to walk bare foot.

“Maybe if you would help me get it” he took a long pause “I’d help you” the offer made me stop in my tracks, it was tempting, very tempting.

Lola Pope had fallen head over heels for Adam Render two years ago when the boy had expressed his feelings for her.
