Alex says something about a ring but I pay no attention to it, she is just joking I tell myself, or is she, she can't really propose right, id hate to tell her about my fears tonight, I watch as Alex slowly walks to the door and that's when I hear it, two gunshots. I look up in shock as Alex falls to the floor, I run and she's laying in my arms, I cry out to her but she doesn't answer, I call 911 and they say the fastest they can come is an hour, I know now that this is it, no marriage, no kids, I'm so sorry Alex, I love you, I kiss her head softly as my tears roll down her face
