Alexys Adair is a wannabe-writer who struggles with inspiration, She enjoys her craft, but with constant disapproval from her parents and writer's block, it can be difficult. She strives to become independent, and less reliant on others after becoming vulnerable around them one too many times. Although, she is afraid of coming out of her comfort zone because she is scared of the consequences. With little friends and a weak support system, the one thing she needs is encouragement.

Eliza Maddox is a beginner stunt-double, who is an adrenaline-addict and seeks thrills. While she enjoys her job, she is mostly independent and reliant on herself since many people are prone to give up on her before even giving her a chance. She puts up a charismatic exterior to compensate for her loneliness, but behind it, the one thing she craves most is comfort from someone besides herself.

Colliding these two women in a futuristic society, together they search for ways to bring back the past, staying in denial of the future. On this journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance with numerous obstacles, they work to overcome their fear of the future and longing of the past.
