Grand Arcana was the world's first and only VRMMORPG ever since it was was released 10 years ago. Ever since it was first released, it was rumored that whoever was the number 1 player after a decade would have their wish granted.

After it's decade long run, to the day, it is being shut down. Many players have come and gone, and the rumored wish had long been forgotten except by one, the number 1 player in GA, Magnus, a man rejected by everything in his life.

Deciding today would be his final day, wishing to die with his only escape from reality, he puts on a wry smile and says his wish as he watches his world crumbles all around him, turning into a white space floating away on a cliff top with his final meal.

"I wish I could have lived here forever."

And as the timer reached zero and his world crumbled around him, his life comes to and end.

Chronicles of Magic: A VRMMORPG Story by Crimson_Skii

If you like things such as Overloard, SAO, or Reincarnated as a Slime, then this might be right up your alley. If you like stories where you follow the antagonist, this definitely is up your alley. The first part of this is a condensed version of half the events of how Sky began to gain power. The next part (starting at MC Meets MC) will be the isekai! Of course there's an isekai and will contain the meat of the story for awhile and takes on a new perspective through Lyra. Sky's story returns later (starting at Back To CoM: Sky's Journey Continues). I will eventually rewrite and edit this story and separate it into 2 separate self-contained books. I'm a player in the hit VRMMORPG (virtual reality massively multiplayer online role-playing game) Chronicles of Magic. A fantasy based game set in a world full of monsters, diverse NPCs, unique quests, and an ever evolving story that unfolds based on player choices. Anything is possible with the world of CoM. Even character creation and evolution are influenced by subtle choices made by the Player. The stat system is complex with point values that influence every aspect of the character. There are unique Titles and Accomplishments unlockable in every way imaginable. Even a player's skills can evolve and combine with other skills to create one of a kind unique skills.

These all 13 state have it's very own holy crystal that bless the state individually. But, the crystal contains powerful amount of mana that makes every single person in Melloyern going for it. A group of magician called Denials were up to collect all of the crystal to keep them safe from wrong hands. There is a lot of hindrance in their path such as the Kingdom of Melloyern itself is turning against these guys. Still there are more. Can they survive? it's up to them to decide. The descendents began to lose the ability to fight gradually eventually came members who could no longer fight at all. They were in building and destruction before they became farmers. Thirty nine generations of farmers later became a family of fishers. Forty generations later the youngest son of the family was killed in a car accident at the age of sixteen. His girlfriend was devastated by that and had taken her life soon after. After he died his soul was brought before God he says "Am I dead?" God says "Yes you have died in a tragic accident I am willing to give you a second chance at life" The boy says "What's the price?"
