Katie Reid, 19, had the seemingly perfect life: an amazing voice, the best friend, and the long-term relationship. But anything good can be taken away as soon as it came. Although she was planning on attending college in Florida in the fall with her five-year long boyfriend, Brian Campbell; her summer vacation was cut short. She didn't know it could only take one night to change everything. Getting to Florida was tricky but staying was much more of a challenge. She was forced to leave everything she had ever known back in Washington, and start off fresh. But who ever said good things can't come out of the worst situations?

Little did she know, someone living in Florida had been dying to meet her; and when he does, she'll be surprised that she'd been dying to meet him too. She only hoped her past wouldn't get in the way.
