The Smell Of Nostalgia

Violetta loved nothing more than her beloved grandmother - an invisible bond had connected them from the day she had seen the light of day. Magical stories of lovers in Paris caught in timeless letters and unbreakable friendships carried into the south of France had shaped her into the person she was today. And as time always did, it had snatched her grandmother away from her when she least expected it. Yet, Violetta wouldn't let her go. She couldn't. Not with all the letters her grandmother had read to her, not with all the letters that she wrote to her loved ones that had remained in France. Not with her soul still breathing and thriving in the alleys made of roses. There were too many secrets to be uncovered, so many ordinary things that would feel magical, and so many old letters that would smell new, filling Violetta with memories of a youth that was never her's.
