Sometimes people don't do what they should do but they do what they have to do. Living in the roughest part of New Orleans is the fight for survival. You have to do what you have to do in order to survive. That is exactly what eight teen year August Alsina is doing. August is in a gang that sells drugs and kills people. Back at home August has a ride or die girlfriend, Brittany Sky, the two have been together for a very long time. They have been together through all the drama, arguing and August's cheating. Brittany wants August to stop doing what he is doing, but he refuses to stop because he loves what he does. Brittany stays up every night wondering 'Will August make it home tonight?'
