Magnolia is at war, all the people are starving and live in tiny, cold huts. Many are dying. Only the rich are safe, but they don't have any care of their kingdom. Fiore used to be a land filled with magic, joy and beautiful guilds. But now they are all gone and all that is left is ashen, smitten country.  Magic is now abused, used for war and nothing but murder for Nation against Nation. If you are caught as a mage, man, woman or child you are immediately drafted into battle with no choice of your own.

Fiore was a land filled with magic. There was three kingdoms in Fiore. The Ice Kingdom ruled by Silver Fullbuster. The Celestail Kingdom ruled by The Celestail Spirit King. Last the Fire Kingdom ruled by Igneel Dragneel. Each kingdom had something unique about their rulers. The Ice Kingdom was ruled by Demon Slayers, the Celestail Kingdom was ruled by spirits or Celestail Mages and the Fire Kingdom the ruled by dragons. Not long ago the Princess of the Celestail Kingdom was murdered while in the Fire and Ice Kingdoms. Not long later they found out she had a lover that was also killed that same night. The three Kingdoms were at the brink of war blaming each other for the murder of Princess Layla Heartfilla.
