A boy decides to become a man as he tries to fill in the shoes his father wore years ago. While he has success early on in his career, he later learns the difficult truth that no one comes out of war unscathed. A man fights for his people and to drive his enemies away from the land they do not rightfully own, though he finds that keeping to his craft is harder than it seems at first when being able to return home alive is on the line. Death comes for everyone at some point, though sometimes death must find a way to survive itself.
