Rue's been surviving for as long as she can remember, she was alone at the beginning but over the years has found the four people she can call her new family. Hearing broadcasts of a new sanctuary they decide to test their luck, the luck that's let them stay together as long as they have. Will that luck be able to get them to this 'Terminus' or will they all fall before they finally get to safety.

"Sanctuary for all, community for all. Those who arrive. Survive."

She's heard this promise many times before, each time ending in another dead friend having to be buried and more trauma being added onto her already fragile mind.
