I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. I exited through the side entrance of the building and stood by the manhole cover, pulling it up and out of the way. I climbed down the ladder and slid the cover back over me, shrouding myself in pitch darkness. When I got to the ground, water splashed by my feet and I turned my phone flashlight on. Ice covered most of the walls and floor, except for the small puddle I stepped in. I looked around and started walking in the right direction. It was colder in the sewers this time of year and I almost slipped on ice a few times. When I saw familiar pipes and came to what looked like a concrete wall, a small smile formed on my lips. I stood in front of it for a moment, staring at it. "Come on, Angel." I muttered to myself. It's only been two years. I doubt much has changed. I took a deep breath in and reached up to pull the pipe above the closed door. I'm a lot taller now, so I didn't have to get on my tip toes like back then. The door parted open and I walked in slowly, hearing a thud behind me when it shut closed. It was quiet in the lair as I walked around, taking it all in. Most of it looked the same, while some parts looked new. I took my beanie, scarf, and jacket off, setting them on the couch nearby. "Hello?" - **** quick content and trigger warning possibility. Regarding the fanfics that revolve around the tmnt fandom and series versions, I personally have read many that involve hard language (cursing) and depictions of violent scenes bc it's whats in the storylines of all versions of tmnt across the board and through the decades. After MePhone4 mysteriously dissapeared, the remaining contestants were sent back to Hotel OJ. People picked up new interests, Fan became a famous internet blogger, Suitcase and Balloon became detectives, Test Tube continued her science experiments, ect ect... But what about Paintbrush? That *is* who this story is about, is it not? Yes yes, of course. How would we forget our beloved Paintbrush, famous across all of the seasons of II. What happened to them? Well, they started an art class, every wednesday they would help their students get better at painting. But soon enough, they found a new interest. Finger Painting. They loved how much control they had, they loved how easy it was to glide their finger against the canvas. One day, they accidentally spilt some blood onto their canvas. They tried to rub it away, but.. It felt good. Even better than paint. They loved the feeling of the blood against the canvas, rubbing into it and creating an amazing picture. How could they not like it? But they couldn't use it again, they could use a substitute.
